Regarding this, would you by any chance know, without a doubt, who the other ancestors of the grandeur legends are?
In my opinion, the comment on the legends just seems a tad odd, what with having two legends referenced by Oriss, rather than a single one. MM (talk!) 05:18, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
I'm not sure where, but there was an article on WotC's site that said that, yes, Oriss was the daughter of Orim and Cho-Manno. Her "TAP" ability references Cho-Manno's ability, while her Grandeur ability references Orim's Chant.
As for the other Grandeur Legends, I don't know if they're related by blood, but the article has it right: Baru-->Kamahl, Linessa-->Alexi, Tarox-->Rorix, and Korlash-->Dakkon. --Filby 15:50, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- Would you, then, know about the maternal figures (not necessarily the respective mums) of Korlash, Baru, and Tarox, and the paternal figure of Linessa, Filby? MM (talk!) 13:12, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- No, I'm afraid not. Anything else would just be speculation on my part. We don't know anything about these characters save what's written in the flavor text and the odd bone Wizards throws us. We don't even know if they're all related by blood; they could be the sons and daughters, distant descendants, or just heirs in spirit only to the originals.
- Thanks for reverting that adbot's edits, Filby.:) MM (talk!) {e-mail!} (note: I rarely use it) 09:04, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- No prob. :)--Filby 20:25, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Dakmor
Hi Filby. Do we really know that Dakmor, and even Caliman itself was ever attacked by Phyrexians? Some lands of Dominaria were left untouched by Invasion. --MORT (T) 16:05, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- I thought it was a safe assumption, since it's part of a cycle that depicts ruined cultures (Tolaria, Benalia, Llanowar, Keld) being reborn after the Apocalypse, plus it is titled "salvage," implying that it's being rebuilt. I can make it more ambiguous if you prefer, though...--Filby 17:35, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I'd like you to do it so. Yup, it is possible that it was destroyed by Phyrexians, but there is no confirmation of that, and I always thought that Dakmor Salvage depicts the Thran city of Caliman, which later turned into the swamp ruled by Torija, in which she salvaged Thran artifacts and tehnology. Here is all about Caliman's setting. Also, not all of lands you mentioned were destroyed by Phyrexians, but by the lack of mana swallowed by the rifts. --MORT (T) 17:48, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- 'Kay, it's done.--Filby 18:15, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
I hereby confer to you, Filby, a barnstar, for much good work, notably with the storyline/creature type, set/expansion, and other sections of MTGSWiki; I love what you've done, especially with the beautification of the wiki. =) Have a nice day, and thanks. MM (talk!) 09:03, 23 November 2007 (GMT)
- Woah! Awesome! Thanks!!! :D--Filby 16:44, 23 November 2007 (GMT)
aidar
That pic could be Aidar, but so far we don't know how he looks like. Fighting with a giant doesn't mean being Aidar. ;-) Other than that, thanks for you work again.--MORT (T) 21:06, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough, and thanks.--Filby 21:59, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Dissension and card tags
Yup, done. =) It looks like one needs to input the specific side followed by the name of the whole card, e.g.
<c title="Hide/Seek">Hide (Hide/Seek)</c>
MM (talk!) 03:34, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks!--Filby 04:27, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Dash
Um, why did you put spaces around the Dash? Afaik I used them correctly [[Wikipedia:Dash#Em_dash]| or am I missing something? Otherwise thanks for expanding the rift]s ;) Oracle of Truth 00:08, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Erm. Yesterday was a bit of a fog so I'm not entirely sure what I did let alone why I did it. :^/ If anything I did needs to be undone, go right agead.--Filby 00:55, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Green
Why the drastic change in the green article regarding artifact and enchantments? [1] There was a shift in the color pie from Disenchant to Naturalize. You completely removed that statement as well as some other lines. I don't understand why you made those changes. --GeoMike 20:09, 7 July 2008 (EDT)
- Sorry, I thought I was just re-wording it to make it easier to read. I didn't realize I'd cut out so much. I'll add it back in.--Filby 20:10, 7 July 2008 (EDT)
Lorwyn-Shadowmoor
Just in case you missed it, you might find this of interest ;) . I'd value your input on this. Oracle of Truth 06:47, 15 August 2008 (EDT)
