Motivation/notes

I think the "Motivation and other notes" ~column should be filled exclusively with information related to WAR, if any. For example Ashiok having "Planning to put Theros into never-ending slumber." is unrelated to WAR, and thus, it should be removed. --Tuamir (talk) 18:52, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

I would say that is a perfectly fair point. - Yandere Sliver 19:16, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
After thinking about for a bit I would agree. Also do we need a card column? I mean we have a lore article here, and I don't think the card will necessarily contribute to the lore since planeswalker cards are generally low on lore. - Yandere Sliver 07:22, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
I agree on removing card column. --Tuamir (talk) 19:47, 11 March 2019 (UTC)

The Wanderer?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSIE8eNYoho

Did Greg Weisman say "The Wanderer" at 43:10? I think that might be #12? Nice shout to our wiki, BTW, earlier in the stream. --Hunter (talk) 07:04, 16 March 2019 (UTC)

Might be Li Shan.... --Hunter (talk) 07:09, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
And the non-planeswalker female protoganist: Rat, Rad? --Hunter (talk) 07:04, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
Yeah, I also think that the wanderer might be #12. But that is still quite speculative at the moment. I missed the shout out to our wiki. On which time stamp do they mention us? - Yandere Sliver 08:33, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
Can't find it anymore, and don't have the stomach to listen to this "spontaneous" conversation again (man, these streams are awful) . Greg said he checked some facts on the MTG Wiki. --Hunter (talk) 10:30, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
I know what you mean... a bit less stiff, rehearsed and corporate would be really welcome. Which is a shame, because the topic is interesting and Greg is an awesome creator. God, I watched so much Gargoyles when I was young. - Yandere Sliver 10:35, 16 March 2019 (UTC)

Ral's Allegiancer?

Didn't Ral switch sides when he tried making Niv Mizzet the Guildpact but Dovin stopped them? Depicted in the art book btw. --J spencer93 (talk) 14:37, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Good question. I mean there is still a lot of information up in the air. We probably need to wait and see for a bit. - Yandere Sliver 15:02, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

What about Kaya? The flavor text of her new card clearly shows her changing sides, fighting the eternals. I tried to change and cite it but messed something up. Actually on that same note, I think it would be safe to put that Liliana switches sides as well, as we include Dack's info from the trailer, why not hers. --J spencer93 (talk) 19:55, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Bolas

Bolas's power isn't really mind control. Its the ability to break the mind's of those he touches. A good example is on Dominaria, he didn't control the other dragons, he just drove them to be paranoid until an all out war broke out.--J spencer93 (talk) 16:27, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Lots and Lots

Cant find anywhere it says he summoned 100 planeswalkers--J spencer93 (talk) 21:32, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

Maro said there are other plaineswalker on Ravnica, which we do not know. But I also can't located a source which would give and estimate in any form. - Yandere Sliver 22:41, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

Contentious Plans

Contentious plans confirms Ral and Vraska turn on bolas, they are working with Jace in it.--J spencer93 (talk) 18:24, 12 April 2019 (UTC)

Ugin's Spark Harvested?

I can't find anywhere else saying so. Undoing that edit. 223.67.35.208 22:32, 15 April 2019 (UTC)

Order of Events

Alot of these are out of order. For example, Kaya didnt became a Gatewatch until after it was all done. And gideon doesn't infiltrate the citadel at all in the book. And ugin didn't use the gem to defeat bolas...he watched bolas through it. --J spencer93 (talk) 02:11, 25 April 2019 (UTC)

Feel free to make the necessary adjustments --Hunter (talk) 03:25, 25 April 2019 (UTC)

Didn't want to mess anything up lol Also, the book doesn't describe bolas's imprisonment like that. It says he is trapped there, ugin took full control of the realm, and stripped bolas of his name for no one could summon him. Never saw mention of the plane being removed.--J spencer93 (talk) 18:14, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Tezzeret and Dovin

Based on the book I dont think Tezzeret and Dovin were completely disloyal. I did not see anywhere in the book the Dovin was going to betray Bolas, all he said was I am not a killer. Tezzeret did not reluctantly operate the bridge, he seemed very much willing and only decided when the tide turned on Bolas was he going to finally leave for his own evil plans, as he stated power knows power so he obeyed Bolas. Really Dovin and Tezzeret were really the only two loyal minions of Bolas from what I saw in the cards and read in the books and think those need to change unless we get more sources or something like from the prequel or sequel books that have not yet been released.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.77.232.23 (talkcontribs).

Ashiok

Do we know for sure that Ashiok wasn't on Ravnica during the war? Having a card in the set makes me think Ashiok was around despite not being mentioned in the novel. Like so much else about Ashiok, I think we should go with "unknown" in the "Roles and relations" column. --BlackDiamondDragon (talk) 17:52, 6 January 2020 (UTC)

Ashiok doesn't appear in the novel, and the card depicts them on the meditation plane. There's is no evidence they were on Ravnica. --Hunter (talk) 17:55, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
