Isn't Vehicle also a creature type? --Hunter (talk) 17:26, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

no, MaRo said its only a artifact sub type. -—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hanmac (talkcontribs). 18:24, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
You don't even have to quote Maro for this one. Subtypes belong to only one type. Instant and Sorcies as well as Creature and Tribal share subtypes, but no subtype could be a creature and an instant subtype. That is the whole reason why Tribal was created in the first place. - Yandere Sliver 20:03, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
OK. Still a bit odd that it will be creature type-less when it becomes an artifact creature. It would be neat if it gained the creature type of the tapped creatures. --Hunter (talk) 20:14, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
The article mentions that when the artifact is a creature, it is no longer a vehicle ("While it is a creature, it doesn't have the subtype Vehicle.") and links to MaRo saying that Vehicle is an artifact subtype. While I understand and accept that Vehicle is an artifact subtype, I don't understand why the vehicles would lose their Vehicle subtype when becoming creatures. They become creatures but are still artifacts so there is no reason for them to lose their Vehicle subtypes (as opposed to bestowed auras that aren't creatures so lose their creature types). Is the article wrong? --MHostile (talk) 10:23, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
Maros answer points out that vehicle is not a creature subtype, but an artifact subtype. Nothing in his answer gives an indication vehicle would loose the subtype when the become creatures. Adapted the article accordingly. - Yandere Sliver 11:10, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
