Talk:Toshiro Umezawa
We need more character articles like this one. Great work here. Uber mexico 18:51, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
This, to me, is both an example of what we do need and what we don't need. It's a great entry, but it reads like a condensced version of the entire Kamigawa Cycle, whereas it's supposed to be a character biography. We should list the events as they happened to the character, yes, but we shouldn't go into detail with what type of magic Toshi used on every page of the trilogy. It kind of sounds like a "Last time on Power Rangers" summary. After revising it, this, to me, is what a good character entry should be. It leaves out nothing that the character did, but it is not so inclusive that it's just a rehash of what happened in the storyline. Everything else I've changed has just been grammatical. I've also taken out the headings, which were a bit too in-universe instead of objective. We want people to read our entries, but we don't want them to read them because they're exciting. We want them to read them because they're all-inclusive. Bad stuff aside, with these revisions and Caranthir's excellent in-depth chronicling I think we may be looking at the best entry on this wiki.--eid
