Scarwood Location

Is there any information or reference at all to where the Scarwood from The Dark is located? Ifhbiffefreet (talk) 08:04, 9 September 2017 (UTC)

Scarwood seems to be relatively thorough, if improperly cited. --Corveroth (talk) 23:19, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
There is very little info at all on Scarwood, like its location or anything about it Ifhbiffefreet (talk) 07:18, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
I don't really disagree, but I also lack access to the necessary source material (and the free time) needed to update Scarwood with more accurate information. Until then, my usual inclination is to leave these kinds of story pages in their dubious state, because there's typically some hint of the truth in them that I'll want to research later. If you'd rather delete uncited claims, or attach a {{citation needed}} to them, you are always welcome to edit any page to improve it.
At a glance, it seems like two separate eras of storytelling accidentally left us with two Scarwoods on different continents, which is likely just a simple oversight. The Jamuraan Scarwood is well-attested because it's a major setting for the Legends_Cycle_I, while the Terisiaran Scarwood has relatively fleeting references. The best solution may end up being to funnel most of the information on that page elsewhere and leave only a disambiguation there. I'm somewhat at a loss, however, as to why we're having this discussion here on The Dark Age. --Corveroth (talk) 02:45, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
