The note about Evermind not turning spells it splices blue is actually incorrect. From oracle rulings: "If Evermind is in your hand, you can use its Splice onto Arcane ability. The splice ability copies characteristic-defining abilities. This means that the text "Evermind is blue" is copied onto the Arcane spell, making it blue."

• And now that Evermind has been changed to have a blue color indicator instead of a characteristic-defining ability, it doesn't change the color of a spell anymore.
