Son or Grandson?

If Atlacan Huicintli and Caztaca Huicintli are said to be son and daughter of the late emperor Apatzec Intli III. Because they are uncle and aunt of the current emperor it follows that Apatzec Intli IV is the grandson of Apatzec Intli III. The person that was killed by an Phyrexian assassin must have been the crown prince (a brother of Atlacan and Caztaca). Prove me wrong. --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 07:07, 22 October 2023 (UTC)

It definitely feels like there was a mistake somewhere in the story. Most of the story is relatively clear that Intli III was his grandfather, except for the single line "Apatzec Intli IV would continue his father's rule, but the previous emperor had not planned to die at the hands of a Phyrexian assassin." Either his siblings are so much older that they're referred to as his aunt and uncle, the story refers to both Intli's father and grandfather as "the previous/late emperor," or that line was simply supposed to say "grandfather" instead of "father." Having now reread Episode 6, it calls out Caztaca as the emperor's sister and Atlacan as her brother, so the first interpretation is correct; they're his siblings, just old enough that they're referred to as aunt and uncle. Intli III was the one killed by the assassin. RudleyDudley (talk) 15:36, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
