Stompy is an deck archetype of highly aggressive green decks which would trade their long game for cheap creatures and end the game as quickly as possible. It is comparable to Sligh in red and Suicide Black.

Examples

Señor Stompy

An example of this kind of deck would be Señor Stompy. This version was popular in 1997 during the Ice Age and Mirage blocks. Stompy has a very low mana curve, and almost the entire deck can be played for two mana or less. The deck can't stall, so the plan is to win quickly or not at all. Winter Orb forces opponents to play on the Stompy mana curve.
