Soul Sisters, sometimes called Weird Life or Martyr Life is a White Weenie deck for the Modern format. It utilizes small creatures with lifegain effects such as Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, and Martyr of Sands, which power up cards such as Ajani's Pridemate and Serra Ascendant and push through massive amounts of damage early on. If the game is not finished, it can push through additional damage with Chalice of Life that transforms into Chalice of Death.

The deck was originally designed by Conley Woods for Standard in 2011,[1] but the deck soon rotated and was later adapted for Modern.

Some variants of the deck add in control elements like Wrath of God and Ghostly Prison. While these decks can start out similarly fast, they have the ability to destroy a board stall by the opponent with Wrath, then rebuild its forces with Proclamation of Rebirth.

Norin Sisters

Norin Sisters is a variation of Soul Sisters, adding in red to enable the use of Norin the Wary who provides continuous triggers for lifegain weenies. Norin also pumps up Champion of the Parish (who replaces Serra's Ascendant in this deck) and can push out massive amounts of tokens with Genesis Chamber. In the late game this deck employs Purphoros, God of the Forge in order to close out the game.
