IDW Publishing is an American publisher of comic books, graphic novels, art books and comic strip collections. The company was founded as the publishing division of Idea and Design Works, LLC (IDW) and is regularly recognized as the fourth-largest comic book publisher in the United States.

Magic: The Gathering

In January 2012, IDW Publishing began printing the first official Magic comics produced outside of the Wizards of the Coast in over a decade.[1] The series follows the exploits of the planeswalker thief Dack Fayden. The series ended in 2014.

As of December 2017, new comics were expected, as part of Chris Cocks' effort to continue the expansion of the Magic's intellectual property.[2] Again published by IDW Publishing, the first of these was published in 2018 and featured Chandra Nalaar.[3]
