Gan was once the largest city of Golthonor in ancient Corondor.

History

In the Time of Legends, all living 100,457 Ganarians were destroyed by the fallen angel Trine as ordered by warlord Mandek Ironfist. When Mandek's forces entered the city, they found the buildings themselves relatively untouched, though its inhabitants had been consumed, body and soul. Mandek took over the city and founded the Iron Kingdom centered there, renaming the city itself Ironhold. The exact location of Gan and its successor city Ironhold is uncertain, but it lay south of Wolf's Hackle, within the land of Golthonor on the continent of Corondor.
