I actually added the Magic Theory cat to Heezy Street because I'm not sure I'll actually be able to go through all the mess to get a Statistical Analysis section for other decks before it is too late, especially since Heezy Street is amazingly simple from a statistical perspective. I'll point out that I've also added it to Dark Confidant because of a similar section which I hope to create a seperate page for Card Advantage modified Statisical Analysis but for now it will live inside Dark Confidant. What do you think? Fishysua 14:43, 7 May 2006 (CDT)

  • Well the category is meant for basic concepts to describe decks an plays. Adding every deck to this category does not really help (other decks will receive an analysis eventually). I left Dark Confidant since I thought it is special enough and a significant example in Magic theory to warrant the addition. --Oracle of Truth 14:48, 7 May 2006 (CDT)

I had no intention of adding every deck. Really, I was just adding the section since I doubt I'll have time to replicate it for other decks. Still, I won't put it back if you don't want. No real need, I've linked there as an example from Statistical Analysis itself so... Of course, my worst nightmare is if someone comes along and wins regionals with a post-Dissension Heezy Street decklist thus changing the analysis from useful example to just plain wrong. I would have to find the section somewhere else to live. Fishysua 14:53, 7 May 2006 (CDT)

  • I am not sure whether I understand you. I don't mind the section about the analysis, it's just the category that did not fit in my opinion. --Oracle of Truth 14:57, 7 May 2006 (CDT)
"Really, I was just adding the section since I doubt I'll have time to replicate it for other decks." probably should have read "Really, I was just adding the (Statistical Analysis) section to the category..." I believe it will be important soon to connect Magic Theory to Magic Practice as it were. The tournament decks seem the best place to start. The community needs one to feed into the other and vis-versa even if some individuals stay primarily on one side or the other. I, for example, don't have a team, playtest partners, consistent or plentiful spare time, nor significant funds, the combination of all those will keep me pretty restricted to the theory side. Well as an average user I'd just look for the tournament decks in the decks section or follow the links you placed in the theory articles. I don't see anything wrong with the situation as it is now. This doesn't really matter imo, let's move on to fill out the gaps and missing entries ;) . --Oracle of Truth 15:29, 7 May 2006 (CDT)
