Ranna Beleren is a healer on the plane of Vryn, and Planeswalker Jace Beleren's mother.[1]
Description
Ranna is a short, slim, mature woman with brown hair frizzed with gray and clearwater blue eyes. She wears reading glasses. She developed a method using phoenix feathers as an alternative to organ replacement. After Jace's presumed death, she developed an alcohol habit and she and her husband Gav Beleren split. Leaving her hospital to join the army as a field medic, she later participated in the defense of Vryn during New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse. In the immediate aftermath of the Invasion, Jace planeswalked into her living room with Vraska in a desperate bid to save them both from the wounds they had suffered and the effects of compleation.[2][3]
