Display commander
A display commander is a Magic card introduced for Commander 2021 in April, 2021. It depicts the main commander of the Commander deck, and replaces the oversized of previous Commander products. Its introduction was part of the push updated packaging to increase recyclability and decrease the amount of plastic.[1]
The foil-etched display commander is printed on a thicker card stock and is not a tournament-legal Magic card. It can be used in Commander games to designate the special status of the commander.
