Disqualification and suspension
In October 2018, Lanthier was caught manipulating his deck during a match. After the event, the incident was reviewed by the owner and a local Level 2 judge, and he was disqualified from the event.[1][2] Lanthier afterwards admitted to the cheat and requested that he receive a lifetime ban from the DCI.[3] Ultimately, he was suspended from the DCI for three years.[4]
