Chain Veil

The Chain Veil is an ancient and powerful artifact that the planeswalker Liliana Vess retrieved from some ancient catacombs at Shandalar, as instructed by the demon Kothophed.[1] Wearing it over her face she was able to enhance her power, kill Kothophed and Griselbrand, and curse Garruk Wildspeaker. However, as the Veil took hold of her she seemed to become possessed by its eldritch spirits. [2]
Ob Nixilis used to be a human planeswalker before he was turned into a demon by the use of the Chain Veil.[3]
