Gen Con

Gen Con is one of the largest and most prominent annual gaming conventions in North America. It features role-playing games, miniatures wargames, board games, strategy games and collectible card games like Magic: The Gathering. Wizards of the Coast first presented Magic to the general public at Gen Con in August 1993; the game proved extremely popular, selling out Alpha.
