Hakim, Loreweaver was a wise and knowledgeable man, so named for his gift in telling stories. He could chronicle virtually anything, and his stories have earned just fame throughout the continent. Although Hakim was characterized by some arrogance, especially during conversation, he is kind and good-intentioned at heart. Always covered with some sort of enchantment, Hakim was a great collector of artifacts and curios. He flew around on a drake he claims to have raised for many years.

Hakim was the entrusted by the rulers of Suq'Ata to represent his country in the peace talks Mangara had organised between Zhalfir, Femeref and Suq'Ata. When Kaervek’s legions besieged the city of Tefemburu, it was Hakim who, with the aid of the planeswalker Teferi, wove a magical spell around the dark armies, phasing them out of existence while the civilians escaped.
