Brian David-Marshall is a Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour Historian, and a former player.
In addition to writing his "The Week That Was" column on magicthegathering.com, Brian David-Marshall provided play-by-play commentary at Grand Prix and Pro Tour events; he had been a part of official coverage since the beginning of the professional scene and served as a judge at the very first Pro Tour in 1996. After some 17 years of coverage, and 9 years as a store owner and tournament organizer before that, he ended his professional relationship with Magic in February 2019 (Though, he briefly returned in March 2019's Mythic Invitational as a player, due to Owen Turtenwald's unexpected event withdrawal).[1]
He is co-owner and founder of "To Be Continued LLC" — a publishing house which published Michael J. Flores: Deckade — and Top8Magic.com. He is a co-founder and former owner of Neutral Ground.
