A Qualifier is a tournament where Magic players can qualify for a Premier Event. There have been several names and iterations through the years.

History

1996 - 2019: Pro Tour Qualifier (RPQ)
1996 - Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)
- 2015 - 2019 Preliminary/Regional Pro Tour Qualifiers (PPTQ / RPTQ).
2011 - 2019: World Magic Cup Qualifier (WMCQ)
2019: Mythic Championship Qualifier (MCQ)
2019: Mythic Qualifier Weekend (MQW)
2020 - : Players Tour Qualifier (PTQ new style)
