The Dark Age

The Dark was a period of time after Brothers' War and before 450AR when the Ice Age fully begun. During this era, in the aftermath of Sylex Blast, Dominaria's climate became colder and resources became scarce. Use of magic was shunned, particularly by the Church of Tal, and so mages practiced in secret.
