Gerry Thompson is an American Magic player. His most significant accomplishment is winning Pro Tour Amonkhet in 2017. He also has another top eight finish at the Pro Tour level, at PT Gatecrash in 2013. He is also known for his repeated success at the StarCityGames tournament series, and for writing strategy articles for that site and for ChannelFireball. He was a developer for the game at Wizards of the Coast.[1]
