Khonian Midwives were women in the Kingdom of Khone on Corondor who controlled the development of the Numbered Ones in the Khone Valley of Sacrifice. They were blinded when the explosion of a Yalomar Cat killed all the Numbered Ones except the one named Gydolien Mor.
