The APAC League is an official Magic: The Gathering league exclusive to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region played in 2022.[1]
Format
Players could participate in five APAC League events, with three events that fed into a Championship at the end of the year.[2] The qualifiers took place during Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, Streets of New Capenna, and Dominaria United seasons.
Participating in each qualifier throughout the year gives players the opportunity to scale the ranks — the top two players from each qualifier earn an invite to the Championship event at the end of the year.
APAC League 2022 qualifier events could be held in a variety of formats — including Standard, Booster Draft, Sealed Deck — and featured a different promotional card throughout the year
Promos
Similar to the promos connected to the 2021 APAC Store Challenger Series, the League promos of 2022 celebrated the Chinese New Year. This time the Year of the Tiger.[3] This was done again in 2023 for the Year of the Rabbit[4]
