A Qualifier is a tournament where Magic players can qualify for a Premier Event. There have been several names and iterations through the years.
History
- 1996 - 2019: Pro Tour Qualifier (RPQ)
- 1996 - Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)
- 2015 - 2019 Preliminary/Regional Pro Tour Qualifiers (PPTQ / RPTQ).
- 2011 - 2019: World Magic Cup Qualifier (WMCQ)
- 2019: Mythic Championship Qualifier (MCQ)
- 2019 - 2020: Mythic Qualifier (MQ)
- 2020 - 2020: Players Tour Qualifier (PTQ new style) and WPN Qualifier
- 2020: Qualifier Weekend (MTG Arena-only)
- 2022: Regional Championship Qualifiers (RCQ) and Regional Championships (RC).
