Acclaim was the owner of Acclaim Comics Inc. (Armada) which published several Magic comics in 1995 / 1996. The company was also the developer of the Magic: The Gathering - BattleMage video game and the Magic: The Gathering: Armageddon arcade game.
In 2005 Acclaim filed for bankruptcy.
