UWr Planeswalker Control, sometimes known as Super Friends (or Pals), was a standard deck during Shards of Alara-Zendikar blocks that prominently featured planeswalkers. The deck used Elspeth, Knight-Errant, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Ajani Vengeant, and Gideon Jura as its main ways to apply pressure. It also featured board sweepers, such as Martial Coup and Day of Judgment, to deal with enemy forces. Some versions attacked mana bases with Spreading Seas and other planeswalker strategies with Oblivion Ring.
UWr Planewalker control tended to do well at tournaments, but boasted a very high price tag due to the popularity of Elspeth and Jace.
