Oona is the queen and mother of the faeries on Lorwyn. She lives in Glen Elendra and sees the world through her children and the harvested dreamstuff they bring her. She is one of the few creatures that retain her memories after the Great Auroras.
During the events of Lorwyn's storyline, she has a plot to spy on Colfenor's plan to disrupt her control of Lorwyn using Maralen, but her plan backfires because Maralen refuses to work for her, and both end up confronting.
In the end, Oona is defeated and killed, and Maralen becomes the new queen of the fae.

(or): declare a color remove cards from the top of your opponents library and put a 1/1 black and blue faerie creature token into play for each card of that color removed.
Even without any abilities, Oona, Queen of the Fae is quite a powerful card. Standing at 5/5 she would have little trouble being the strongest creature in play. Also, with flying and a converted manna cost of only 6 she could be considered to be at least balanced, even before considering her secondary ability.
Overall, Oona would make a decent addition to many decks. First, her ability to remove cards from an opponent's deck allow her to contribute to a mill victory; second, her spawning capabilities gives her a place in any deck heavily focused on creatures; and finally, her manna cost, power, and toughness allow her dominate the field with shear brute force.
On a side note: Oona, Queen of the Fae is, in terms of power and toughness, one of the most powerful wizards in the game. only one, Magus of the Tabernacle (2/6), can exceed her toughness and no wizard in the entire Magic: the gathering trading card game, to date, has a higher power than hers. There are only four other wizard cards with stats that can match hers: Magus of the Arena, Dragon Mage, Cabal Patriarch, and Arbiter of Knollridge.
