    • Through, Watanabe's record is a bit different case to Budde's, As 2012 season (that he won both awards) is the only year that Player of the Year is not decided by Pro Tour points, but the results of the Player Championship (Which means the winner will be the Player of the Year) due to event structure change.
  • No player won Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year in the same year.
  • In 2010, Brad Nelson and Guillaume Matignon tied in the Player of the Year race, forcing a playoff at the next Pro Tour, where Brad Nelson won.
