Mercadia was a plane near Dominaria ruled from Mercadia City, sitting strategically atop an inverted mountain. The city's leadership was highly corrupted by various infuences, particularly Phrexian. The Weatherlight and its crew escaped to this Phyrexian occupied territory after leaving Rath, not long before the Phyrexian Invasion.
Mercadia was the setting of the Mercadian Masques expansion.
