Primordial Hunger is a Planechase (2012) deck. It was designed around revisiting the keyword Devour.
It contains the following Planes:
- Furnace Layer
- Jund
- Kilnspire District
- Lair of the Ashen Idol
- Orochi Colony
- Prahv
- Selesnya Loft Gardens
- Stensia
It contains the following Phenomena:
The mythic rare Legendary creature in this deck is Thromok the Insatiable.
The seven rares in this deck are Awakening Zone, Warstorm Surge, Dragonlair Spider, Preyseizer Dragon, Mitotic Slime, Hellion Eruption, and Mycoloth.
The deck also contains six new eternal format legal cards which were never printed before. They are Thromok the Insatiable, Dragonlair Spider, Preyseizer Dragon, Beetleback Chief, Brindle Shoat and Fractured Powerstone.
Additionally, two cards are printed in modern card frame for the first time: Nullmage Advocate (last seen in Judgment) and Wall of Blossoms (from Stronghold)
