Tom LaPille is an employee of Wizards of the Coast and a former Magic designer and core developer. He used to be a columnist for magicthegathering.com (Latest Developments). [1] Tom joined Wizards in 2008. One of his responsibilities was constructing Magic's line of introductory products. Tom was the one who first pitched the idea of using double-faced cards for Innistrad. [2] In 2011 He made the move over to Dungeons & Dragons R&D. [3]
