The A Planeswalker Novel series is a new publication system of Magic the Gathering storylines starting with the Alara block, their basic structure is as follows:

Currently two novels have been announced:
- Agents of Artifice published in January 25th 2009.
- The Purifying Fire published in July 2009[2].
- The Curse of the Chain Veil to be published July 2010
- Test of Metal to be published September 2010
