Randy Buehler was an employee of Wizards of the Coast (previously the Vice President of Digital Gaming) and a former Magic: The Gathering pro-player.
Pro-player
Randy Buehler was Rookie of the Year for the 1997-1998 Pro Tour season. His twelfth place deck was featured in the 1998 World Championship Decks. Randy won Pro Tour Chicago 1997, which was his first Pro Tour event. He made Top 8 at 7 Grand Prix tournaments, winning Grand Prix Atlanta 1998. He has a total of 126 Pro Points.
Wizards of the Coast employee
Randy began working in Magic R&D during development for Invasion. He was Lead Designer for Odyssey block. In 2001, he was promoted to Director of Magic R&D. At the beginning of 2007, he became Vice President of Digital Gaming. One of his projects is Gleemax.com. He formerly served as a commentator for the Magic Pro Tour webcasts, along with Brian David-Marshall. He wrote the Latest Developments column on magicthegathering.com from January 2002 through January 2004. Aaron Forsythe replaced him. In December 2008, he was laid off from his position at Wizards of the Coast, along with the majority of the Gleemax development team.
