Grandeur is an ability word that was introduced in Future Sight,[1] seen on a cycle of five legendary creatures in that set. A Grandeur ability is an activated ability that is played by discarding a card with the same name as the card the ability appears on.

Rulings

  • The grandeur ability can be played only while the creature that has it is in play. To play the ability, a different card with the same name must be discarded.
