Samuel "Sam" Stoddard (ab. 1981) is a former senior Magic developer for Wizards of the Coast.
Career
As an administrator from Columbus, Ohio, he cashed multiple Grand Prix, played in seven Pro Tours and was a vocal advocate for Legacy in his column on StarCityGames.com.[1] Sam joined WotC as an intern in June 2012,[2] and was permanently hired in December of that year. Until June 2017, Sam was the main columnist for Latest Developments [3][4] and also contributed some stories to Uncharted Realms.
Sam Stoddard left Wizards of the Coast in March 2019, to become Senior Game Designer at Mythical Games.[5]
