Scott McGough is an author who has written multiple novels and stories for Magic: The Gathering.[1]

Description

Scott is a former Duelist editor and a former Magic: The Gathering creative director (May 1998 - May 2000) for Wizards of the Coast.[2][3]

Ron Spears used Scott McGough as the model for Opportunity.[4] J. Robert King, the writer of the Invasion cycle, based the character Guff also on McGough.
