== Symbols ==
Well, first things first! I forgot to mention that these curves follow the principles of sligh!
I have a long past with simulations and generaly reside in phyrexia.com where I post quite frequently about the discoveries on manacurves I make with my simulations. It's pretty advanced stuff though.

Where did those symbols come from?  --[[User:GeoMike|GeoMike]] 23:03, 5 August 2008 (EDT)
Since you have a background with simulations we might even strike a deal one day. I have been searching for a long time for someone to duplicate my simulations which actually involve a lot of troubles because of my personal background.
:I also wondered about them, I suppose that they are from the Time-Shifted Cards of Future-Sight, respectively, they were the first cards using them. --[[User:Hó-òh|<span style="color:#00DD66">Hó-òh</span>]] [[User talk:Hó-òh|<font face=" Monotype Corsiva">Diskussion</font>]] 04:15, 6 August 2008 (EDT)
::I think they need mention under the symbols that they are from Future Sight time shifted cards, then. --[[User:GeoMike|GeoMike]] 06:47, 6 August 2008 (EDT)
:::They are also used in [[Magic Online]] since v.3, so imo that's not necessary. [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 07:17, 6 August 2008 (EDT)
::::I don't have Magic Online so I wouldn't know that. It needs to state somewhere where these symbols came from. --[[User:GeoMike|GeoMike]] 11:58, 6 August 2008 (EDT)
:::::Well ok, it does not hurt to have the description. [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 14:04, 6 August 2008 (EDT)

==Time formatting==
I'll pop away to see if I can find a link to some of my "works"
Hi, what about time formatting, and where to discuss? If it's ok here and you mean general time formatting in our articles, then I'd suggest to keep it consistent with mtg.com, since we have tons of references that already use this format ;) . It is also less ambiguous to Europeans compared to other (shorter) options. [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 19:19, 14 August 2008 (EDT)
:Awesome, a response! :D Well, I am used to European time templating, DD MM YYYY. But, another thing is, my buddy from Germany, is the comma. Should we have DD[space]MM[comma][space]YYYY or DD[space]MM[space]YYYY? :) <small>'''[[User:Magic Mage|MM]]''' '''([[User_talk:Magic_Mage|talk!]])'''</small> 02:34, 15 August 2008 (EDT)
::Usually there are no commas in European dates, they are separated by full stops (e.g. "15.08.2008" in Germany) or by slashes (e.g. "15/08/2008" in Great Britain). But as I said, we should really stick to the format Wizards uses, i.e. '''"Friday, August 15, 2008"''' (German equivalent would be "Freitag, 15. August 2008"). [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 06:32, 15 August 2008 (EDT)
:::Oh s[bleep][bleep][bleep]... I remember taking your stance once upon a time. Yes, we outta keep with Wizards on this. Can you guys change it to that formatting, please? Sorry.
:::I would, but you know what's up. :-/
:::Thank you, oracle of truth for all you've done, all you're about to do, and all you'll do. I guess this shall be my last edit before the sui-block works and stays. :P

==Alacar Leoricar and licence issues==
WICKEDDARKMAN
Have you checked with him whether it's ok to post all his stuff here? Remember that everything is made available under the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 licence (at least nominally), obviously excluding the copyrighted stuff from Wizards (actually we really ''really'' have to mark all that material someday). Even if we forget about this a moment, he might not be comfortable with it. [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 06:40, 15 August 2008 (EDT)
:Ok. I'll rmv it. HAHAHA, lol. We really haven't really addressed copyright. :P <small>'''[[User:Magic Mage|MM]]''' '''([[User_talk:Magic_Mage|talk!]])'''</small> 07:14, 15 August 2008 (EDT)

==Lorwyn-Shadowmoor category==
No really good link anywhere! Just a lot of posts that are losely interlinked.
How about making a template that automatically inserts the lengthy text required, like [[Template:LorShad]], or something? :P <FONT FACE="Arial Narrow"><small>'''[[User:Magic Mage|MM]]''' '''([[User_talk:Magic_Mage|talk!]])'''</small></FONT> 08:24, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
Are you interrested in working on a sim though?
:It only makes things more complicated to edit. Saving just ten letters isn't worth it. [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 08:31, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
::Please explain, OoT... I don't understand. X'( <FONT FACE="Arial Narrow"><small>'''[[User:Magic Mage|<sup>M</sup><sub>M</sub>]]''' '''<sup>([[User_talk:Magic_Mage|talk!]])</sup>'''</small></FONT> 10:42, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
:::What I thought you meant was: <nowiki>[[Category:Lorwyn-Shadowmoor]]</nowiki> - 30 letters, <nowiki>[[Template:LorShad]]</nowiki> - 20 letters. But apparently you mean something else by "lengthy text"... [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 13:09, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
::::Um, why would you ''link'' to a template? Inclusion works by using these braces: "{{" and "}}", to close. So, {{LorShad}}, or to keep it simpler, {{lorshad}}/{{Lorshad}}, because it's such a hassle to capitalize mid-way a word. <FONT FACE="Arial Narrow"><small>'''[[User:Magic Mage|MM]]''' '''([[User_talk:Magic_Mage|talk!]])'''</small></FONT> 02:16, 18 August 2008 (EDT)
:::::Ah right, sry^^. Still I don't think it's worth it. [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 07:35, 18 August 2008 (EDT)

== Thanks for the Message ==
MORT will be able to tell you a bit about me!

I see there's some discussion about copyright above.  Is that why there isn't a page for every card?  I can fairly easily knock together a program to create a magiccards.info-style page for each card and keep it up to date (although I don't have scans) if you like ... [[User:Bakert|Bakert]] 18:28, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
:That's not really an issue, at least for now. Duplicating magiccards.info is sort of pointless since both that site and this wiki are owned and hosted by [[Hannes]]. And as I [[Help talk:Card tags|said before]], currently there is a consensus not to this. [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 20:55, 17 August 2008 (EDT)

I have only edited the wiki one other time in my life, and that was to change parts of my OWN wiki page that were wrong.(and then Magic Mage IP banned me for doing it) I know nothing about what 'style' the wiki should be in.

==Do you see what I see?==
I was TRYING, on this thread, to get someone that DID know more about the 'style' the wiki should be in to update that page, with more information. I left the part already there. I feel that what MORT said in post #5 of this thread should be added to the wiki page. I don't care about the 'style' in which those extra facts are added, only that they are.
[[Legends#Design_and_Development|Legends#Design and Development]]... there's this code box. :-/ <FONT FACE="Arial Narrow"><small>'''[[User:Magic Mage|MM]]''' '''([[User_talk:Magic_Mage|talk!]])'''</small></FONT> 05:53, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
:Huh, seems to be a bug introduced with the new version. Replace spaces after a reference with a newline and everything is fine ;) . [[User:Oracle of Truth|Oracle of Truth]] 12:52, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
::Just delete the space after <nowiki></ref></nowiki>. It's weird that when you look at history of edits there are no code boxes visible. --<span style="color:#FF0000">[[User:MORT|MORT]]</span> <b>[[User talk: MORT|(T)]]</b> 18:15, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

==Good luck==
MORT pointed out that the 'style' I used was 'wrong,' and I tried editing it, but I don't really know anything about writing MtGS Wiki pages in 'the proper style.' Lets face it, 'style' is a VERY subjective thing anyway, and I don't 'get it' right now.
With your exams, of course. Also, oot, I'm going to archive your page up to everything last month; if not okay, feel free to undo. :) And sorry for any incurred inconvenience in advance.

As for MTG.com templates, if the old links still work, does that mean you'll create new templates? <FONT FACE="Arial Narrow"><small>'''[[User:Magic Mage|MM]]''' '''([[User_talk:Magic_Mage|talk!]])'''</small></FONT> 10:55, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

I will request that someone that DOES know about how to update the wiki page 'the proper way' do it, with the extra information. Since the current information is misleading to the point of being wrong.

::Thanks for the good luck, and no it's not ''that'' bad that you archived, it's just I already thought of a funny caption: "Big Bang till September 2008". Well, I'll change it someday. As for the templates, askref is broken beyond repair while the others should be adjusted. But we are in no rush, since they redirect to the right page except for the arcanas, that are missing between 2006 and 2008. I made some noise on Wizard's forums, but so far no response.
