I had listed that <c>Pheres-Band Brawler</c> was strictly worse than <c>Affectionate Indrik</c> based on the casting cost. LSV's comment on the former in his [https://www.channelfireball.com/all-strategy/articles/theros-beyond-death-limited-set-review-green/ set review] made me notice the subtle change in templating, but I think even then, the Indrik is what you'd rather have. In a set with devotion, you might want the extra colored mana in the cost, but in general, that's the sort of corner case we don't take into account for comparisons. Pheres-Band Brawler vs. Affectionate Indrik
I had listed that Pheres-Band Brawler was strictly worse than Affectionate Indrik based on the casting cost. LSV's comment on the former in his set review made me notice the subtle change in templating, but I think even then, the Indrik is what you'd rather have. In a set with devotion, you might want the extra colored mana in the cost, but in general, that's the sort of corner case we don't take into account for comparisons.
