Does anyone actually disagree with the reasoning for examples (high readability, curated, usually short) to usually go before rules (low readability, indescriminate, often sprawling)? If not, then other pages having been done differently probably means they could change too, not to never make a change at all. If so, let's discuss further. Wikis evolve.

Examples are usually short (although on this page it's true they're a bit longer), are a somewhat more encyclopedic style especially when they include commentary and explanations, and are more about a general understanding of the topic. Rules are quite long, not encyclopedic, and extremely technical.

  • curprev 19:1419:14, 8 May 2022>Jerodast 6,227 bytes +60 note about activation from battlefield. changed from "says" to "implies" since the battlefield limitation isn't explicit, and "saying anyone can activate it" is close enough to an implication :)
  • curprev 19:1119:11, 8 May 2022>Jerodast 6,167 bytes +361 Corrected misleading statement with Ghost-Lit Raider - its first ability would still be battlefield-only even without T in the cost. Added some random artifact as an example to show how T only affects creatures, and demonstrate a mana ability.

  • curprev 18:5018:50, 8 May 2022>Jerodastm 5,793 bytes +11 Oops, didn't see examples, which means we're now TOC'd off; needs a lead section separator now. also moved examples above the comprehensive rules
  • curprev 18:4918:49, 8 May 2022>Jerodast 5,782 bytes +1,322 moderate rewrite. Mainly, added section to expand on activation costs, and reduced the complexity of that part of the lead paragraph accordingly. Many other rephrasings, links, etc.
