Player of the Year/Points
Starting in the 2022–23 Pro Tour Season, the Player of the Year will be determined on total Player of the Year Points earned from the three Pro Tours and the Magic World Championship of that year.[1]
Description
Player of the Year ("POY") Points differ from Adjusted Match Points ("AMPs"). AMPs were designed to award invitations to Pro Tours on a rolling basis and invitations to the World Championship on a seasonal performance basis.
Player of the Year Points from Pro Tours and Magic World Championships are calculated as follows:
