Kaito's Age

Is there a source for Kaito being eighteen? The story is very clear that he's fifteen, so I edited the age and added it as a source, but it looks like it's been edited back to eighteen, without changing the source stating he's fifteen. DayoftheNinja (talk) 08:01, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

Actually, the beginning of the story says he's "on the cusp of sixteen". The epilogue says he's been away from Kamigawa for a year. It doesn't clarify if it was a year since he first left since it also says he doesn't stay long. If you go the way of him being away from Kamigawa for a year since he became a planeswalker, he'd be on the cusp of seventeen.

"On the cusp of sixteen" is still fifteen, but I forgot that the story does end a year later (I think it's fair to assume it's been a year since the earlier part of the story since it says it's been "a year since he'd tasted pork dumplings" and he buys dumplings earlier in the story), so I think calling him sixteen by the epilogue is fair. In the latest story (Episode 2) it is ten years later. That would make him twenty-five? --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 21:42, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Had to do the math too when I read it. He was 15 a year after the emperor disappeared, and Episode 2 is 10 years after she disappeared, so I believe he's currently 24. DayoftheNinja (talk) 09:53, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
