The LatAm Magic Series is a series of high-level sanctioned Magic: The Gathering events in Latin America to rival the Wizards of the Coast driven tournament scene. It was introduced by Bazar de Bagdá in 2019.

Description

The LatAm Magic Series is integrated into the Players Tour and will offer invites to the Championship level and provide paths to the Rivals League and the MPL.[1]

The new series will also feed eight slots for each Players Tour, starting with the very first one which will happen in the first quarter of 2020.[2] The LatAm Series will have two finals, each one offering 4 slots - one modern and another standard. To feed the finals they will have standard and modern qualifiers each one feeding their final. As a twist, they are also offering Pauper and Legacy qualifiers. These qualifiers will feed either Standard or Modern finals.
