Cedric Phillips is an American Magic commentator and pundit, and former professional player. He finished sixth at Pro Tour Kyoto 2009, his most significant tournament accomplishment. Phillips also has two Grand Prix top eights, at GP Colombus 2004 and at GP Boston 2012. In recent years, he has been better known as the editor and manager of coverage of Star City Games, and forms a popular commentator duo with Patrick Sullivan. Phillips also has a podcast, currently known as The Cedric Phillips Podcast, where he tackles news and controversies in the world of Magic, as well as other subjects.
