HarperPrism
HarperPrism (1993–1999) was a publishing imprint of Harper Collins. The company published twelve books related to Magic: The Gathering. The Magic line was discontinued after Wizards of the Coast started publishing its books.

Promotional cards
In 1994, HarperPrism released five books with an enclosed mail-in coupon redeemable for special promotional cards related to the stories. Each of these had an expansion symbol shaped like a calligraphy pen ().

Curse of Nazir
In a 2004 April Fool's joke, MagicTheGathering.com author Mark Gottlieb wrote Peeking in the Black Box, where he described a fictional sixth HarperPrism card, 'Curse of Nazir', given out with The Cursed Land.
