Cosmology of Magic: The Gathering consists of several levels. From the widest level to the most narrow ones, they look as following:

  • Time stream - parent level in cosmology; each creates its own reality and contains one multiverse. There are infinite time streams.
    • Multiverse - for example Dominia, is a space consisting of finite, but enourmous number of planes shfting in Blind Eternities.
      • Plane - natural universe existing beside others in endless movement in multiverse. The can contain billions of galaxies, stars and planets and be ruled by any possible physical rules.
      • Artificial plane - artificial, small universe, usually created by planeswalkers who define its rules; it's unstable.
      • Blind Eternities - "space" between planes filled by chaotic energies, mostly Æther and mana.
