Griselbrand is one of the demonical masters of Liliana Vess. He lived on Innistrad, a plane very similar to Earth in its Gothic ages. He fought archangel Avacyn, which resulted in her disappearance. Currently, he is imprisoned in the Helvault, an artifact of immense power, made of pure silver.
