Siren is a blue creature type used for cards that depict sea nymphs, who lure mariners to destruction by their seductive singing.

The subtype was introduced Magic 2010 with the new card Alluring Siren, which has the typical ability to induce an attack by a target creature. However, the instant Siren's Call was heard as early as the Alpha set.

Trivia

  • Seasinger was an earlier take on the Siren trope.
  • Wojek Siren is an instant that has no direct relation to the creature type
