Fires deck

The main function of the spell was to kill oppossing Birds /Manaelves in the Mirror or to have a 3/3 haste as early as turn 3 for other Matchups.)

Fires deck was a popular green / red aggro deck during the time of Invasion block and Masques block. The decks were good when they abused fading and haste. With the addition of Planeshift, Flametongue Kavu made the deck great. Fires was the deck to beat going into World Championship 2001.
