Craig "The Professor" Jones is a professional Magic: The Gathering player from Manchester, England. He featured in the GP coverage on magicthegathering.com, usually in the form of "The Professor's Field Journal". He also has been writing for Star City Games since his PT Honolulu 2006 tournament report. He currently has a weekly Premium column called "From The Lab".

Including 2007, he has been on the Great Britain National Team three times. As of September 2006, he had 78 Pro Points.

Topdeck of the Century

He is famous for his "$16,000 Lightning Helix" at PT Honolulu 2006. Against Olivier Ruel in the semi-finals, he had to topdeck a burn spell or lose the next turn to Ruel's creatures. At his draw step, he dramatically flipped the top card of his library onto the table, a Lightning Helix.
